Our Organization

Helping Hands Behavioral Health (HHBH) provides transitional living strategies for women in the Tucson community who are currently in active recovery for mental and behavioral health illnesses and/or substance use and who are seeking support to live healthy lives, free of domestic violence and abuse. HHBH offers supportive services to help coordinate medical, behavioral and mental health care to encourage successful independent living. At HHBH, we strive to create a welcoming and safe environment for survivors of domestic violence that offers tools and solutions to help women reclaim the lives they choose.

Services we offer

Helping Hands Behavioral Health (HHBH) is an organization that will provide transitional living strategies for women in recovery. HHBH will help coordinate medical, behavioral and mental health care to encourage success for independent living. HHBH offers tools to include, but not limited to, educational or vocational training; group therapy opportunities to address substance use disorders, relapse prevention, support for completing activities of daily living, healthy relationship tools, medication management education. Other groups may be tailored to address the specific needs of the patient pertaining to the education and management of medical, behavioral and mental health disorders.

We understand this requires transparency and advocacy for underserved individuals. We acknowledge the needs of our patients and offer support, so that all patients can feel and become the healthiest version of themselves.

Our Vision

Our vision is to help meet the needs of domestic violence survivors by offering tools and resources that promote a holistic approach to recovery. By encouraging the engagement of medical and behavioral health care, participation in substance use recovery programs; educational and vocational resources; and stable housing support, we hope to foster an environment that promotes safe, healthy and independent living
